Continuing our tour, we will visit the historic Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, a jewel built between 1647 and 1666 that houses exquisite rococo altarpieces and paintings from the renowned Cusco and Quito schools. As we further explore, you will discover the fascinating Archbishop`s Palace and the charming Casa Calonge, a colonial residence that was built after the earthquake of 1619 and even hosted the liberator Simón Bolívar.
