Description
This can be considered a sunset adventure through the pacific entrance of the Panama Canal.
We're taking bike adventures to the next level in Panama City by taking you out of the regular old town adventure or the coastal strip adventure (you can find interesting walking tours for that or do those two on your own).
We want to take you to the old Panama Canal Zone instead, teach you about the history between the relationship with Panama and the US, the Panama Canal history and the old military forts, while observing the ships crossing under the bridge of the America's.
We should note that this trail can be a little challenging in places, but is mostly flat for most of the trip. At some points we will ride in the car lane therefore bicycle experience is required.
During this adventure we will use long range radios, with an ear piece device so you don't miss out on the information. We also use this to maintain safety of our customers, we'll communicate about obstacles or holes in the road.
We'll start our journey an the Santa Ana Plaza where we'll get a context of the area and the history behind it, and will visit around 4 to 5 neighborhoods along what was known as the Panama Canal Zone and nearby areas.
