Description

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your guide will meet you for a transfer to Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital (45 minutes). Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Uganda National Museum or Kasubi Tombs. Overnight: Kampala. Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park After breakfast, drive 5-6 hours to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park, known for its dramatic waterfalls and wildlife. Check in at a lodge like Paraa Safari Lodge. Overnight: Murchison Falls. Day 3: Murchison Falls – Game Drive & Boat Safari Enjoy an early morning game drive in the park’s northern sector, home to lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. After lunch, take a boat safari along the Victoria Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Hike to the top of the falls for stunning views. Overnight: Murchison Falls. Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest Drive 7 hours to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its chimpanzee trekking. Check in at Kyaninga Lodge or Chimpanzee Forest Lodge. Relax and enjoy the peaceful rainforest surroundings. Overnight: Kibale Forest. Day 5: Kibale Forest – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland In the morning, embark on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Kibale is home to over 1,000 chimps, and you’ll spend an hour observing them in the wild. After lunch, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching and a nature walk. Overnight: Kibale Forest. Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park Drive 2.5-3 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse landscapes. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, spotting buffalo, elephants, and antelope. Overnight: Queen Elizabeth. Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – Boat Safari & Game Drive Take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive in the Ishasha Sector, famous for tree-climbing lions. Overnight: Queen Elizabeth. Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Drive 4-5 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Check into your lodge (e.g., Buhoma Lodge). Relax in the lush surroundings. Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest to track a habituated family of mountain gorillas. Spend an hour observing them interact and feed. Return to your lodge for relaxation. Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Day 10: Bwindi to Entebbe for Departure Drive 8-9 hours back to Entebbe, stopping for lunch along the way. If time allows, visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Depending on your flight time, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure. End of Safari.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes as there is a moderate amount of walking involved. Bring a hat and sunscreen to protect against the sun. It's recommended to bring a camera to capture the scenic views. Smoking and consuming food and drinks are not allowed during the tour.
