Discover the magic of Colombia with a unique experience in the municipality of Ubaque, 90 minutes from Monserrate in Bogotá. It's a natural paradise where you can enjoy two of our country's greatest treasures: birdwatching and artisanal coffee.
Embark on a unique adventure through the stunning Colombian Andean landscapes while you search for the enigmatic torrent duck (Merganetta armata). We invite you to an unforgettable experience of approximately 4 hours of immersion in nature, starting at the charming Corazón del Molino estate, where you'll enjoy a tasting of artisanal coffee, harvested directly from our coffee plantations.
A Species Tour: On our 2 km trail, you'll have the chance to observe about 30 species of native and migratory birds. Then, we'll venture on a 5 km route to the banks of the El Palmar River, where we'll look for other fascinating species and, of course, our longed-for torrent duck!
Connection with Nature: This immersive experience is ideal for all levels, from beginners to experts. A tour guide specializing in birdwatching will accompany you, sharing their knowledge as you immerse yourself in the aromas of coffee plantations, fruit trees, and native forests, surrounded by a rich variety of wild flora and fauna. - This tour includes a walk of approximately 4 hours, so you should be in good physical condition.
The experience includes breakfast, water for hydration, and a coffee tasting. You can bring your own lunch or have it at our restaurant.
Pets are only allowed for private groups with a fee of 60,000. They're not allowed for group experiences.
The shuttle service isn't included, but we can put you in touch with the shuttle company if you need it.
If you're traveling in your vehicle from Bogotá, you'll need to get to the municipality of Choachi and then to Ubaque on a national road (no trails or paths). Once you're in Ubaque, it'll take you 10 minutes to get to the farm.
