Description
Ride your quad through magical locations and visit the summits of two Colca Canyon viewpoints, offering breathtaking views of the Colca Canyon.
Our departure times from Salinas are as follows: 7:15 AM; 11:00 AM; 2:00 PM.
Our quad bikes are automatic and very easy to operate.
We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to our base, where we will provide you with information on how to operate the automatic quad bikes and issue you with the necessary equipment. From our base, we will head to the Achachihua viewpoint, where we will enjoy a phenomenal view of the Colca Canyon and a panoramic view of the Sangalle Oasis. From this viewpoint, we will also be able to see the pre-Inca fortress known as Achachihua, which surrounded the pre-Inca village of the Cabana culture. Continuing our tour, we will head to the San Miguel viewpoint, from which we will have a beautiful view of the valleys along the banks of the Colca River, as well as a panoramic view of the villages of Tapay, Cosñirhua, Malata, and San Juan de Chuccho.
Optionally, we can visit the Juanita Museum to see cultural artifacts from the area. Here, we can also find a replica of the Juanita mummy, as well as the mummy of a child from the Kuski culture, complete with all his ancient attire.
We will then continue our return journey to the town of Cabanaconde.
