Begin with early pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel by private transport toward the southern highlands, enjoying scenic views of traditional Andean communities, alpacas, and mountain landscapes.
Upon arrival at the ATVs base, receive a complete safety briefing and practice session before starting your ride. Ride across high-altitude plains surrounded by dramatic Andean peaks on a designated route that reduces hiking time and allows you to enjoy the scenery in a more accessible way.
Arrive near the viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), famous for its natural mineral stripes. With your guide, learn about the geological formation of the colored layers, local Andean communities and traditions, and the spiritual importance of mountains (Apus) in Andean culture.
Enjoy time for photos and to take in the panoramic views at over 5,000 meters above sea level. Continue toward the Red Valley, a less-visited extension offering wide open landscapes covered in deep red mineral soil. This area provides fewer crowds and spectacular panoramic views of the Andes.
