Enjoy our tour of colonial and modern Lima, which begins with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, we'll see Huaca Pucllana, a pyramid-shaped pre-Inca ceremonial temple that has survived the urban sprawl of Lima. Next, we'll visit the historic center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On this tour, we'll enjoy what was once the center of the Spanish colony in the 16th century. We'll continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, one of the most important religious complexes in Lima. We'll tour its cloisters, courtyards, and old rooms decorated with colonial art. We'll also descend to the famous catacombs, a mysterious underground labyrinth used as a cemetery during the viceregal era. At sunset, the tour concludes at the Magic Water Circuit, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest ornamental fountain park, with 13 fountains, laser lights, music, and synchronized images. At the end of the tour, you will have the option to stay at the Larcomar shopping center or return to your hotel.
