Description

Begin with a pickup from your hotel in San Isidro, Miraflores, or Barranco. Head to the seaside town of Paracas, making a short stop in Chilca to try traditional Peruvian breakfast specialties like chicharrones and tamales (not included). Upon arrival in Paracas, board a modern speedboat for an excursion to the Ballestas Islands. Admire the incredible marine wildlife, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Guanay cormorants, pelicans, and various seabirds. You may even see sea lions and penguins swimming close to the boat. Along the route, observe the famous Candelabra geoglyph, and listen as your guide explains the different theories regarding its origin and history. After the tour, enjoy free time to purchase souvenirs, snacks, juices, or other local products. Visit Dulcería Viviana to taste traditional handmade sweets such as chocotejas, alfajores, jams, and artisan cookies. Next, continue to the city of Ica and arrive at the stunning Huacachina Oasis. Enjoy free time to explore the oasis, relax, and enjoy the beautiful desert scenery before the guide provides instructions for the exciting dune buggy adventure. Experience an adrenaline-filled ride aboard the famous dune buggies, speeding across the massive sand dunes. Try sandboarding, sliding down the dunes on specially designed boards. After the adventure activities, head to a local restaurant to enjoy regional cuisine and learn about local pisco traditions. During the winery visit, taste a variety of locally produced products, including wines, piscos, pisco creams, macerated drinks, and mistelas. The tasting experience is accompanied by fun and traditional expressions typical of the Ica region. Finally, return to Lima, arriving at your hotel approximately between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
