Start your journey from your hotel in El Calafate aboard a rugged 4x4 vehicle to uncover the breathtaking beauty of Torres del Paine National Park across the Chilean border. This all-day adventure guides you to the park's most scenic spots reachable by vehicle. Explore its famous landmarks while learning about the region's rich flora, fauna, and geology. Ideal for those with limited time, this tour provides a fantastic chance to soak in the stunning vistas of Torres del Paine. Travel in a modern 4x4 Overland Truck, maximizing your experience in less time. Marvel at awe-inspiring waterfalls, serene lakes, and lagoons from key vantage points, and enjoy brief hikes for even more spectacular views.
On the second day, a minivan will collect you from your hotel in El Calafate and transport you to Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll travel 50 miles along a paved route, framed by rugged brown mountains and a shimmering blue lake. A knowledgeable local guide will provide fascinating details about the park, home to the world’s second-largest icefield after Antarctica. Upon arrival, your guide will walk you through the 2-mile boardwalks that offer stunning views of the Perito Moreno Glacier’s massive front face. These easy trails are linked by staircases and feature informative signs at key points. With a bit of luck, you might even witness a colossal ice chunk breaking off and crashing into the lake! Later, you’ll rejoin your guide for a one-hour boat trip that takes you across the full expanse of this towering 260-foot glacier. A small bar offers hot drinks to keep you warm against the Patagonian breeze. You’ll return to El Calafate in the early evening.
