Begin your tour with a visit to the Temple of Coricancha (optional). Then, head to the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, one of the most iconic Inca buildings, where you can enjoy a privileged view of almost the entire city. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex primarily used for ceremonial and astronomical purposes. Visit Puca Pucara, a military fortress with multiple rooms, squares, baths, aqueducts, walls, and turrets. Next, visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site with stone-carved water channels, possibly dedicated to the worship of water. Return to the historic center of Cusco to conclude the city tour.
