The hamam is an atmospheric world all its own in the midst of modern, bustling Kusadasi. If you are stressed-out, tired, or just want to visit a place where time seems to have stood still for centuries, step inside for a Turkish bath experience. Immerse yourself and embrace traditional custom by wearing the waist-cloth and clogs provided to you. Relax in the hamam's large marble room heated by a continuous flow of hot dry air to build up a sweat. The combined intense heat and humidity encourages your pores to open and impurities to be extracted from your body. Then, move to the sauna before splashing with cold water and drying off at your own pace. Following this, your skin will be gently exfoliated with a Turkish scrub and you will receive a soothing soap massage. The scrub and bubble wash lasts for approximately fifteen minutes, while the whole bathing process of resting, perspiring, and washing takes about one to one-and-a-half hours, but there is never a time limit. After performing a full body wash and receiving you massage, retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation as you enjoy a cup of tea.
