Your experience begins with a scenic drive from the city into the lush landscapes of Farallones de Cali National Park. Upon arrival at a peaceful mountain finca, you will be warmly welcomed by the local finca owner. To start the experience, you’ll enjoy a small traditional snack and a cup of homemade Colombian coffee while taking in the beautiful views and the calm atmosphere of the mountains. One of the highlights of the tour is the opportunity to hand-feed hummingbirds. Watch these colorful and fascinating birds fly around you and experience the magic of having them come incredibly close while they drink nectar. After spending time with the hummingbirds, enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch prepared at the finca. Relax in the fresh mountain air, take in the surrounding nature, and learn more about the local culture and environment. Depending on weather and river conditions, there may also be the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the nearby river. • This experience takes place in the mountains near Cali in Farallones de Cali National Natural Park. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a jacket as it can get cool in the mountains, and using sun protection. If you would like to swim in the river, please bring a swimsuit and a towel, depending on weather and water conditions. The tour takes place in a small group to ensure a personal and relaxed experience. Wildlife sightings, including hummingbirds, are very likely but cannot be 100% guaranteed as they live freely in their natural environment.
