Detailed itinerary of the excursion to the Humantay Lagoon:
3:30 a.m. - 4:00 a.m.: Pick up at your accommodation in Cusco.
4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.: Transfer by private vehicle from Cusco to Mollepata.
6:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m.: Breakfast in Mollepata and opportunity to purchase water and snacks for the hike.
6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.: Travel by vehicle from Mollepata to Soraypampa.
7:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.: Final preparations and orientation in Soraypampa, with views of the mountains Apu Salkantay (6,230 m.a.s.l.) and Humantay (5,250 m.a.s.l.).
7:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Beginning of the hike of approximately 2 hours to the Humantay Lagoon, reaching an altitude of 4,200 meters above sea level.
