Colonial Art Museum
The Colonial Art Museum is housed in the oldest building in Old
Havana, the Palace of the Counts of Casa Bayona, a mansion rebuilt in 1720 by the governor of Cuba Don Luis Chachón, which highlights its beautiful courtyard Classic and precious wood paneling. This palace enjoys an enviable location in front of the Cathedral of San Cristobal de La Habana.
This small museum exhibits an exhibition of colonial furniture and decorative art, among which are some porcelain pieces with scenes from colonial
Cuba, as well as various dining room sets from the colonial era and a fantastic collection of ornamental flowers.
