This restaurant is family-owned and is located inside their home which was built in the 1830s. It has a typical architecture of those times, characterized by two corridors which run parallel to the street, a gallery and an inner courtyard. Other characteristics include 'four-hip' roofs, unique to 19th century buildings of Trinidad. Bar offers the most refreshing cocktails to enjoy whilst staying at hostel and / or paladar.
Sol Y Son serves charcoal-cooked seafood and meat specials in one of Trinidad’s picturesque colonial houses. In a town known for its old-world charm, Sol Y Son’s courtyard is perfect for a romantic supper, complete with fountains, candlelight and bougainvillea canopy. A local band playing lively Cuban music adds to the atmosphere.
