Josone Park is an old neoclassical mansion surrounded by a varied garden built in 1942 in Varadero by a couple who owned a distillery in Cárdenas, coinciding with their silver wedding.
José and Onelia Iturrioz baptized this little paradise by combining their names, and spent unforgettable moments in it; he working locked in his studio and she took care of the gardens and organized celebrations attended by illustrious personalities, especially religious. The mansion passed to the government after the Revolution and is currently a space open to the public.

This beautiful place consists of nine hectares of varied vegetation, which encompasses from imposing trees to tiny violets. A rowboat ride on the lake located downtown will allow you to admire it in all its splendor. Ocas and ostriches roam the area, so you will also have the opportunity to observe some interesting animal species.
The environment is very attractive to young girls, who regularly attend their parties when they turn fifteen. This celebration is very significant in the life of a young Cuban woman or from any other place in Latin America. Josone Park is excellently equipped to spend the day without missing anything: in addition to its undoubted natural charms, it has restaurants, a mini-train and a swimming pool.
