Cuba is the perfect place for diving. World reference of this sport, the Caribbean island boasts hundreds of kilometers of virgin beaches, thousands of cays and islets scattered along its coasts, immense coral reefs and abundant marine biodiversity. In addition, the conditions for its practice are ideal, since its waters are calm, warm, crystalline, with a visibility that reaches up to 30 or 40 meters deep and a temperature between 24 and 29 ° C.
 
In Cuba you will find many dive centers along its entire coast that will advise you and take you to many of its dive sites. All of them have the means of safety and rescue of rigor, so you only have to worry about enjoying to the fullest. In addition, they are specialized in the immersion of all types of fans, regardless of the level of experience, from the most professional to beginners. You can even practice other diving modes, such as snorkeling, night diving, sport diving, deep diving, and cenote and cave diving.
 
There are many attractive diving areas in Cuba, but among them three stand out: Jardines de la Reina, Isla de la Juventud and María la Gorda.


Diving in Cuba 

Jardines de la Reina (Camagüey): In this Cuban archipelago, formed by more than 250 islets, coral reefs and mangroves abound. In its crystalline waters you can admire the diversity of its marine life in which, for example, the turtles or the different species of sharks that populate their depths stand out. Its most important immersion points are those of Farallón, Pipín, Coral Negro I and II and Vicente.
 
Isla Juventud (Cayo Largo): This other archipelago, in addition to having many dive sites, also has some idyllic beaches, such as Sirena or Bibijagua. On the dive you will be able to admire its wonderful limestone rock formations, its caves or the immense underwater valleys that extend into its depths; not forgetting its fauna, such as sea turtles, rays, sharks ...
 
María la Gorda: This dive zone is located to the west of Pinar del Río and boasts the world's largest black coral reef, a mountain range of corals in which a great diversity of marine animals lives.
